Difficult Situations

Instead of finding the right words to say right off the bat I want to begin this book by saying that everything we have ever been through can be a powerful tool and hold the treasures of powerful lessons. I don’t believe we go through difficult situations and life experiences for nothing. I believe there is a reason for all of it. From childhood to adulthood we go through ups and downs, some higher or lower than others, but if you dare to look closer at your life and the meaning of and purpose of what you go through then you will see something much bigger than what many of us sometimes see when we go through difficult circumstances.

The Fire Inside

Some people can get lost in the pain and suffering of what life throws at us and I myself have been one of those people. One time a guy I was seeing said to me that I was dealt a bad hand as if my life was a card game and I was losing. But when I look back at comments like this I see that I turned them into fuel for my fire. The fire you have inside can take you places. It can grow your motivation to well past what you ever thought possible and catapult you to new heights and successes in your life.

New Breasts

I’ll tell many stories in this book to show you just how dragging you down circumstances can suck but what has the ability to set your soul on fire in just the right way to cause growth on all levels of life. Starting with probably the very first conscious traumatic experience I had which was when I was 12. I had just started my period and felt so awkward with my new breasts and what felt like a diaper in between my legs for several days each month.

Not Yet A Woman

I was new at being a woman and still I was not a woman pretty much on any level. I was just a girl. My mom really didn’t spend a ton of time with us but I remember doing a lot of outdoor stuff with my mom. It was part of her job to go skiing and kayaking, hiking and camping. I loved pushing the coffee can back and forth from person to person to make ice cream. The consistency was liquid deliciousness and hit the sugar spot.

Remembered Moments

As I speak of my innocence, I’m really just setting you up to see the contrast in life before and after the event when I was twelve. I think we all have those experiences where there is a stark difference between before and after the event. Those are the moments you really remember, that change you and alter your life forever. Although I have many of those that I’ll openly share throughout this book, this is the first: the day I lost my virginity, illegally.
