My money story started when I got my first job at 15

(truly when I was born but all of it was unconcious living anyways).

Like many coaches and ambitious professionals, I worked hard but never learned how to save, how to manage money, or even how to feel about it.

I was stuck in the cycle of paycheck to paycheck for years, always behind, always silently ashamed.

I watched my mom work three jobs just to get by, and I inherited the belief that you could love your work, but you’d never be paid well for it (lie).

Even after graduating from the prestigious Bastyr University—with school loans I had no idea how I’d pay back…

I still dreaded going to work.

I was doing meaningful work in behavioral therapy and teaching yoga, but I felt financially and emotionally depleted.

I didn’t know how to change it.

I just knew something had to shift.

I carried years of trauma: repeated sexual assault at age 12, the death of my brother at 22, and a lifetime of insecurity and self-hate.

But all of it became fuel for the woman I was becoming.

I knew I wanted to help people like me, but I hadn’t yet discovered how…

Until money became the mirror that showed me everything.

By the time I turned 30, I hit rock bottom.

I couldn’t afford the luxury apartment I was living in, and I was drowning in shame, hiding from my finances, and feeling completely blocked.

But that was the year I declared breakthrough results in my finances—and my life has never been the same.

In November of 2018, everything cracked open when I saw the truth: I didn’t feel worthy of the life I truly desired.

Not the money.

Not the career.

Not the love.

And for the first time, I realized… it was all just a story I made up!

So I made a new declaration:

I would double my salary.

And within weeks, I landed a job that paid me exactly what I claimed—at the same transformational education company that had changed my life.

I coached people.

I led events.

And yes… one of the hats I wore was Finance Manager (ironic, right?). 🙃

That job woke something up in me.

I started to bring integrity to my finances for the first time.

I built a budget.

I faced my shame.

I called every loan and collection agency and took my power back—bit by bit.

What I once ran from became the doorway to my freedom.

And that’s when it all clicked: I was meant to teach this.

So I became a Certified Money Coach (CMC) through The Money Coaching Institute and began helping women transform their unconscious patterns around money.

But I wanted to go deeper.

Many of my clients came from chaos, trauma, or poverty thinking like I had.

So I trained for another year and a half to become a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Quantum Time Release, Hypnosis, and Trauma-Informed Coaching through Avalon Evolved NLP.
